Our diving center regularly participates in various environmental programs related to the protection of the ecosystem of the ocean and its inhabitants.
International Cleanup Day is held under the aegis of PADI since 1995 and is part of Project AWARE.
This year, in order to encourage volunteer divers, our dive centers on Koh Tao and Koh Samui provided free of charge dives for all participants of the Cleanup Day of the removal of marine debris.

This year, in order to encourage volunteer divers, our dive centers on Koh Tao and Koh Samui provided free of charge dives for all participants of the Cleanup Day of the removal of marine debris.
Certified divers were engaged in cleaning the reefs of Koh Tao, while non-certified contributors were involved in beach cleaning. As a reward, all who wished to participate in PADI program Discover Scuba Diving took their first diving experience for free. In total, the event was attended by over than 40 people, about half of them made that day their «first steps» underwater. The day was ended by a beach barbecue party with Project AWARE award certificates for all participants and PADI Discover Scuba Diving program diplomas for newly attracted divers.
Therefore International Cleanup Day is focused not only on best practices for responsible diving but informs non-divers how to care for the ocean environment.
