PADI Open Water Diver Course is by far the most popular diving course in the world. By completing this course, you will become a self-consistent diver capable of planning dives and diving to the depth of up to 18 m and enjoy the beauty of the sea world.

In the classroom.
You start your learning with the theoretical part. You will be doing it by reading PADI Open Water Diver manual and watching the educational video. By the end of each chapter your instructor will answer all the questions that you might have. It is also necessary to complete 5 knowledge reviews and answer the questions of 4 tests to check your knowledge. And in the end, the theoretical part you write the final exam that contains 50 questions.
Practice confined water.
From simple things to more complicated! We start our confined water session in one of the most picturesque bays of the island on the depth of approximately 1,5 m. We start practicing simple and basic skills when you learn how to clear the regulator and your mask, to use alternate air source provided by your buddy learn basic rules of controlling your buoyancy and how to use your equipment.
We will be moving from simple exercises to more complicated ones on the way. After confined water practices you will feel much more comfortable in the water, get accustomed to your equipment, you’ll manage to deal with different situations which might occur during your dives. Overall you’ll practice and mater about 30 special skills.
Practice, open water.
Of this course it is necessary to do 4 open water dives, first two dives not deeper than 12 m and another two not deeper than 18 m. You will be demonstrating there the skills that you have mastered during your confined water dives. Rather than that, you will have the time for the sites explorations to enjoy the diving to the fullest!
Course prerequisites:
Minimal age – 15 (at the age of 10 you get Junior Open Water Diver certification)

Course schedule.
The schedule will be built depending upon your preferences. But usually it looks like the following:
Day 1
You will need approximately four hours to watch first three parts of the educational video PADI Open Water Diver and to go through the first three chapters of the text book. Your instructor will help you to do it and then you will complete three Knowledge Reviews (open book). The class may start at any time convenient for you.
Day 2
At approximately 11:00 a.m. you go to the sea to start our confined water session in one of the most picturesque bays of the island on a moderate depth. After completing this session and some rest on board you will do your first open water dive on the depth of up to 12 m. This is going to be an excursion dive and your acquaintance with the beautiful sea world. This day’s schedule will be over at about 5:00 p.m.
Day 3
Your instructor meets you in the dive center at 9:00 a.m. You start with two theoretical chapters rest in the course and at approximately 11:00 a.m. you will be on the boat.
First, you will finalize two final confined water dives and then your second open water dive of the course. You’ll be practicing the skills from confined water session on the depth of 6-8 m on the first part of your dive, and on the second half, we plan the excursion on the depth of up to 12 m.
Day 4
This is the final day of the course and it begins at 9:00 a.m. in the classroom where you will be answering the questions of the final exam (books closed). Then you listen to the briefing for your final two dives in the open water with the depth of up to 18 m. when you are back ashore you and your instructor will fill all the necessary forms and prepare documentation for your certification. The course is over but your adventures are only about to start!
